Found this guy on the bottom shelf of an old pipe cabinet, in the back corner of a tobacconist in Burlingame CA. I wasn't even looking for a pipe, but the price was right and the grain and finish grabbed me (window glare probably ruins it in the pics). Googling, the Viking classic line seems to be a modern, outsourced factory line using the old Bjarne name? Well, it's light and nice and thick walled and seems to smoke well, so I might have to keep my eye out for these. Anyone have experience with them? URL=http://imgbox.com/w2KzMRDc] [/URL]

They were made in both Denmark and Italy. Guessing the newer examples are Italian manufacture. I had a Danish version and it was VG in smokeability and build quality.
