If you can find it...Graeter's ice cream...ice cream made in Ohio in 2-gallon French pots...52 of them...about $7.00 a pint and worth every penny...you'll never go back...gonna give some to Josh tomorrow or Sunday if he makes it down...watch him go crazy for it. My entertainment.
Like feeding my doggie filet mignon...she dances!!!

Do it and sell your snuff behind the counter. I'll move there and you'll never get rid of me!

We've been seriously contemplating opening a Gyro & Ice Cream shop in my town. I would eat ice cream, and then have a gyro. Or, just make tzatziki ice cream.

After 30 odd years of being involved in the restaurant business, I've come to the conclusion if you provide a quality item for your customers, they will be beating down your door to get in the place...or if take-out only they will be standing at the window 5 deep waiting to get what you got. Quality and consistency is the ticket, you provide that and you will have a loyal customer base unless you are in bumf**k, Iowa (no reflection on any of Iowa...just used as an example of some place with a population of 50)

Made four batches of ice cream this week because of the heat. Good timing I guess. I also made milk chocolate "magic shell".
Flavors: Peanut Butter Pumpkin Pie Black Cherry S'mores Coffee

It's on the top of my list. Was the first ice cream recipe I perfected. At least perfected in my opinion. With my homemade "magic shell" its like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

I'd add Coffee too as a change up, but like tobacco, it is a hard flavor to nail down accurately.

I was often told it tasted like fresh brewed and it should as I use fresh ground coffee and let it steep in warm cream. It's filtered before churning.

All time favorites are butter pecan and mint chocolate chip. The bluebell blackberry and peppermint bark are up there, but not quite on the same level.
Meijer brand Blue Moon is #1 and always will be

Have at least heard of most of the major brands & some of the above. Wifie can no longer have any dairy products, try to find sherbert "novelties" when on sale. I too now only keep cones, anything on a stick in back freezer for summer months. Back when we'd get 'em in 1/2 gallon sizes...my favs about anything with nuts....Butter Pecan, Maple Walnut among others

We've been seriously contemplating opening a Gyro & Ice Cream shop in my town. It wouldn't be fit to live in without those basics. Unless, of course, you have vortices and crystals.

I am a die-hard Maple Walnut fan. Close second is Hershey's Cappuccino Crunch. After that, it'll be Darin's baklava ice cream.

The V&C's are a little north-west of me.
So far, my little town has only one "major" restaurant / bar and one Thai food place … no stop lights.
We moved here knowing we'd be on the cusp of growth and that the potential was here.

I like Butter Pecan best, but I will take Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla over most anything else. (unlicked)!

I've had to double check labels, after getting back home and discovering I had bought Light ice cream. They can be devious about it too, hiding the Light recipe in terms like Slow Churned, etc.

I'd also add a mini-rant about reduced sizing, with 3 pint packaging now the norm instead of a true half gallon. Being an old duffer, I recognize this strategy from when they steadily reduced the size of a '2lb' can of coffee.
