While reading reviews at TR, a user suggested a pinch of Cube Cut be added to Stokkebye Natural Dutch Cavendish. I tried it and it is a very positive result, yielding a moderate nic increase and longer burn time. Curious, I tried a pinch in a bowl of Sutliff Flying Dutchman Match with equally good results. Glad I read this tip and now the decent, but one dimensional Cube Cut has new applications in my tobacco rotation.

Cube cut is a different smoke. I grab a couple of fingers of it and gravity feed it into a bowl then enjoy. Or I will use it in a personal blend.

I got the chance to try John's mix using the PS Cube Cut and it was a great smoke … probably even better now after some time in jar.
Jason, Cramptholomew, sent me a sample of some PS C.C. that had been stoved and it takes to that process very nicely.

Think I have some 2yo of that blend. Sitting until we can smoke a bowl.

Being cross cut from cakes, I thought it was stoved, but description says air cured. What does the stoving do for it?

It mellows and slightly sweetens the Virginia while accenting the cocoa flavors in the Burley.
I'm pretty sure it was Scott, McWiggins, that did that batch in his oven. My method is to use a pressure cooker but the results are very similar.

Truly a blend that takes to stoving well. Now I'm waiting to see what years of storage will do.

Darin , Since 3 Sails is a little bland I added some cube cut, perquie and Dark Strong Kentucky to it. Now to wait a couple of months or six before trying.
