Mick Jagger turned 76 today and he is doing a concert tomorrow night at NRG Stadium. I don't have the energy to even watch it, even if I had the money. We took my son and his friend to see them January 25,2003 in the same place and I have to say that it wasn't worth 415 dollars for tickets and parking back then to see them in such a huge space with a substandard sound system. It might be worth it now if you want to see the miracle of them still rocking out at age 76. 57 years of rocking blues!

We saw BB King in 2011 at the Fort Tuthill Park outside of Flagstaff ... he was 86 or 87 at the time!
I wouldn't pay more than $60-80 for ANY ticket and especially not a huge, impersonal venue.

Good for Mick...at 76 I can barely crawl from place to place...but Mick is still putting on fabulous shows with the group...Rolling Stones Forever!!! They are still kickin' it!

We've seen Willie and Waylon, Heart, Jefferson Starship, Leon Russell, Edgar Winter, Charlie Pride, ELO, Michael Murphy and many others from less than 25'. However, it was for my autistic son who loves the Stones and his one friend. Unfortunately, he spent the concert with his fingers in his ears and asking if it was almost over. I really wanted to paint it black that night.

I remember him once saying that he was going to retire at 50

I guess he got bored. I can see how getting all of the adoration and applause from millions of fans would be addictive. Not to mention cash. If he had retired at 50 he would probably be dead by now.

A few fun facts about Alice Cooper...
My wife lived in one of the same houses that he did as a kid when she was very young. He's nothing like what you see on the surface and was actually close friends with Glen Campbell. They golfed together at least twice a week when not on the run. His real name is Vincent Furnier and he lives here in AZ.

Don't know how he does it...probably did as much damage to my body as he did and yet....he continues to put on shows and prance around the stage...I would be fortunate to drag my sorry arse around the stage if I could make it up the stairs.

The only thing in his favor that I can see is that he has never weighed more than 125 pounds. He was also was never into the heavy drugs and getting drunk every day. Not saying that you and I were guilty of that.
