Has anyone tried Potlatch and if so what would you compare it too that’s been around a while. I really like Mississippi River and am wanting to try more of the SPC blends. I tried PPudding and it’s good but not something I’d keep in stock.

I like Potlatch, but I am not good with details and comparison of tobaccos. I would say that if you like Bengal Slices then it's worth a try.

I would consider Potlatch a Lat heavy English blend. Having said that, I consider Joe Lankford a master at integrating Latakia into a blend without it turning into a Lat bomb. Potlatch was my first tobacco purchase after returning to pipe smoking after a 30 year hiatus. Prior pipe smoking found me enjoying really heavy Lat blends and even straight Latakia, so the Potlatch was like renewing a friendship.

ASPC seems to have a good handle on blending (Joe Lankford)...their Plum Pudding SR is truly a fine tobacco...glad I got a pound...so is Bengal Slices just as good but different.

I can't specifically compare Potlatch to anything, but I like it a lot. Either you do, or you don't, or somewhere in the middle. Don't go by anyone else's tastebuds, only your own.
