So I purchased what according to the Ebay listing was a La Savinelli 115KS. What I got is a La Savinelli Giubileo D'Oro 115 KS. All the stampings on the stummel look correct. However I have a concern. All of the Guibileo D'Oro that I have been able to find on the internet have 3 dots on the stem. The one I have does not have those dots on the stem. Now I did find a few that the dots look like they are mostly worn off, so don't know it that would be a concern or not. The stem is a perfect fit for the pipe. So was hoping for some imput. It is dirty, but under a flash light the grain is perfect.

Looks to have a stem replacement. The. Guibileo (hope I spelled that right) has brass dot inserts in the stem, so they would not have worn away.
With that being said; that’s still a great pipe. Nice score.

The strummed looks great. That's a top of line pipe that should outlast 3 or 4 stems.

I'm sure it has a replacement stem. You've got one of the finest pipes made today, far better than any Dunhill made today !

No reason to look down on a pipe with a replacement stem in a pipe unless you are a collector IMO. If you are a smoker and it smokes well then it is a win.

I'll add that, and this is referencing only the older Comoy pipes 60's-70's with which I am familiar, that one of the joys of the older Comoy pipes was the thin-ness of the stem at the button...almost like a piece of paper rather than a stem in the mouth...they were a joy both in wood and stems...gave AJ a selected straight grain pot that had a stem that was almost paper thin yet strong not a bit fragile.
