Got a bumper crop of little orange tomatoes, and another one coming. The last bunch went bad while I was on vacation. My big tomatoes are kinda ok, but the darn stinkbugs ruin the crap out of them. Not sure what to do about that. It happens every year.

Jason, I grow the same little Sungold cherry tomatoes out here. Harder to get a big crop though. Yours look very nice. My chiles on the other hand, are prolific.

Stink bugs have been bad here this year. It has made the price of peas at the farmers market sky rocket. This is my first year without a garden in a long time. I dont even have a tomato plant in a pot I had high hopes, but no time. My favorite bug killer is blue bird houses. They have been keeping my garden clean for years.

Nothing like garden tomatoes, they are the best!
We did get some grape tomatoes in at Albertsons that are pretty awesome though... slight heat to them after wilting the Aragula, real flavor bombs!

Google has tons of info on blue bird houses. Weve built houses for them and put them up around the whole yard. We also have gourds hanging up that they live in. The houses have to have the proper size hole, 1 1/2" for our native ones.

I bet those little rascals would make some jam-up tomato preserves. One taste of a homemade biscuit with tomato preserves and butter ,on a cold winter morning ,will make you pat yourself on the back for your farming skills!!!
