First, let me apologize for not posting in so long. Things happen. I should be back for a while. How many tobaccos do you have on tap at one time - that is, how many do you smoke regularly? For me it's 3 to 6. Right now it's five: Big N Burley, OGS, Epiphany, 5100, and PS Sweet Vanilla. There's not usually an aromatic in there, but I came across a stash of several PS vanillas recently so I'm smoking one.

I have about 20-25 jars that I'm currently smoking out of. But 6 get the most attention. Anni Kake, Simply Red, Old Dominion, 558, Yorktown and Voodoo Queen. The others are a wide range of Vas and Va/Pers.

Off the top of my head, I have at least 8 jars, pouches and tins opened. It’s probably double - 16. I usually smoke between 3 to 6 pipes a day. My current regulars are Amphora Brown and Burley, 2000 McCranie’s Red Flake, Uhle’s Perfection Plug Burley, and C&D Yorktown. I’ll usually finish a tin in 2-3 weeks.

Most of my collection is opened and smoked, with the exception of about 3-4 tins that I haven't opened yet, but really want to. So for me there are about 30 or so on tap (yea, my cellar is small - UK prices and all that).

Good morning Legend Lover. You’re correct about those high prices. Last night I found a shop in Switzerland that exports to the US. I could not believe how much a tin of Marlin Flake was, double! I decided to wait it out here. Hopefully soon.

My cellar is tobacco purchased while I could still afford it and aging is more of a coincidence than intentional. All jars are fair game with over 100 blends to chose from.

Something like 50 or so without digging into the cellar.

I have about 85-90 jars that I'm currently smoking out of. But 12 get the most attention....too tired to name them...but you could look at the WAYS thread and see.

40 to 50, I think. All my smoking stock is in three boxes due to pending construction in the tobacco zone. As I think about it, I'm upping the estimate by 10, I forgot about the box-o-bags - my WC samples and a couple of aromatics in bags from friends. I think I want to reduce the open jar/tin number, but then figure, what the heck, I don't think the tobacco police are going to find me.

Building a cellar with tinned blends would've taken me forever so I concentrated on buying bulk. I've now got around 30 blends from which to choose. Mixing micro blends gives even more variety.
The tins that I do have, like SPC Mississippi River or MacBaren Plumcake, I smoke just one small bowl a day. Although there's heaps of tinned blends I'd like to try, I'm well content and grateful for the choices that I do have.

I have approximately a gazillion jars filled with bulk blends and also a bunch filled with tinned tobacco, but I only smoke a few at a time. I usually wait until a jar is finished before getting another one out, but if I get really bored with a blend (I'm getting bored with Big N Burley) I'll swap it out. By the way, "burley" shows up as a misspelling. Is that the correct way to spell it when referring to tobacco?
