That should make many happy. Getting a chuckle about speculators and their hoarded stock, especially the non pipe smokers.

I apologize - This is likely a doctored photo. Sorry if it turns out to be ‘fake’ news.

Were it true, wouldn't Laudisi have to be mentioned ? Upon reading again, I see no mention of them.

The pipes are a separate company from the tobacco, I believe. Did Laudisi buy the tobacco brand too?

Haha. I thought STG already announced thy were going to continue producing the Dunhill blends (as they were the producers of it before), only under one of heir existing lines. But insofar as Peterson tobaccos was also purchased by STG, maybe they'll issue a Peterson-Dunhill range. Who knows. As a note, Laudisi did purchase Peterson pipes.

The first Laudisi-flavored Peterson release is some $1k-ish Supremes, with Claudio Albieri leather, being sold at SP.com. Combining all the Laudisi properties in one product

Looks legit. I guess it’ll take time before I know if and under which brand they’ll be sold here. Heard through the grapevine that the bigwigs are not too keen to export the Peterson brand to Slovakia and whereabouts for some reason. It was already out of stock last year and the importers won’t bring more in for the forseeable future. But my cellar’s anything but empty so I don’t mind too much

Yes, STG bought the blends and rights to the names of 5-6 former Dunhill marques, and as of this date, have not decided under which name to put it. Peterson is one top candidate, though. With the purchase of Peterson's, I believe Laudisi also acquired their tobaccos, but announced that they sold those - or licensed them- to STG.

I'm not complaining but I hope they manage to bring back Durbar and Aperitif. Without Durbar and London Mixture it seems that none of the oriental forward blends made the cut.

The ad is real———
This was posted on another pipe site today by Leonard Wortzel, Brand Manager, Lane Limited:
Pardon for not weighing in earlier. Where to begin... - That's a real power point from our company. A bit surprised that the entire power point got out there (typically we'd just use the press release page), but the content is all suitable for public consumption - Not going to weigh in on the whole FDA aspect. Safe to say the blends will be around for a while. - As for right now not 100% of the blends will be back. Not saying never, but no timing on the return of the others, including bulk versions. - No changes to the recipes you have been enjoying for quite a while - Why the Peterson name? The PPT addresses this, but trust me, a subject of much internal debate. - Timing - soon(ish). I'll let you know as soon as they hit the dock

Rumor was that they would not be available in the US market? Anyone know if that is true?

Rumor was that they would not be available in the US market? Anyone know if that is true? I heard the same, but I'm hoping the source was wrong. As someone who hasn't even been smoking for a year yet, I was never able to try any of the Dunhill staples, and EMP and Nightcap were both ones I would have been interested in given how my tastes have developed.

James Foster (Pylorns) article says they are coming back....Hopefully they are taking their time to get it right instead of rushing it to market....
