greets again all. In from cutting the grass (needed) as dark clouds approaching, very humid & 84. Quorum 6x50 for company. Also mowed neighbor's frontage at least, as he's in for surgery. Get even time for the times he cleaned out part of our driveway with his giant snowblower.. doing the "lip" where the plows dumped it with salt filled snow...too heavy for my little one-stage. Now CokeClassic at desk, DGT '06 Blackpoint in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Soon onward to sups
Thunder now fairly close....good timing on the mowing
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY gots 'em, smokes 'em since '62

I just smoked a bowl of 2001 Caledonian Melange no 421 in a T Cristiano Canadian with an acrylic band and stem. I recently rehydrated this and ended up scorching my mouth. I guess I need to let it dry out again.

MacBaren Golden Extra mixed 50/50 with Carter Hall in a Country Gentleman.
Upon discovering the GE in a tin that I thought was empty, what was there was a touch dry so it was easier to mix in some CH than rehydrate such a small amount.
Both are really good Burley blends and they taste great mixed together.

Thank you Sam.... she is our baby...she has epilepsy and can't be left alone..she is a sweetheart and talks to me all the time...comes to get me at 10PM as it is her bedtime and she wants me there so she can lay her head on my leg as she sleeps...I don't mind a bit as we both love her as a child...when it is her time we will both be a mess...but we have decided as much as we want another...we are too old to be taking care of anyone but ourselves and we aren't all that good at doing that anymore. She's a cutey. My old Rotti, who was my one-in-a-million, lived to 14yo. 50kg dogs live to around 10yo on average so by the time that he was 12yo I knew that we were on borrowed time. Thinking about losing him would upset me off course but when his time came, it was so peaceful that I didn't shed a tear. He was healthy right up to the end [apart from a little arthritis in his back legs that I treated with cannabis oil] His long life was due to his diet; raw meaty bones. Raw chicken necks are ideal for a Chihuahua. There's a group here in Oz that rehomes dogs, which are usually smaller dogs, that have lost their elderly owners. This allows older people to have a dog that's often middle-aged that's trained & house broken, without having to worry about what will become of it should you pass over before it. I'd be willing to wager that there's a similar organisation in the U.S.

Smoking a mystery tobacco in a Radice Rind GTWO quarter bent billiard. Mystery because I didn't label the huge jar. I think it's a Wilke blend and 8 oz at least. Iced tea on the side.

Having some year old Bayou Night in my usual. Let's see if a year toned this down at all. I noticed some of the astringent "taste" went away in mine and it mellowed down just a little. Its roughly a year old now as well. Salty Dogs in my Peterson Summertime B10

Slowly plugging away at Meridian. It's better than I'm making it out to be but I really thought it'd be great.
