My apartment is essentially a single large room so space is at a premium. I don't smoke in there, but I like to maintain and clean my pipes from the couch so I positioned the "cellar" accordingly. The left rack is for maintenance items at the top and English/Non-aromatic blends below. On the right I keep opened up tins at the top and stack aromatics below. I keep jars at the very bottom.

I remember a picture that trailboss posted of his cellar when he took it out to stocktake or something. It was impressive. Judges 15:4 kind of sums up where this fox headed when I realized that the regulations were coming. Us cellar fellers were pulling each others tails. Anyway, posting what I had on inventory day may have come across as braggadocios, which is the farthest thing from what I want to convey, and I honestly do not say it out of false piety...I have seen on other forums where people of far greater wealth have posted enormous cellars, and in my perception, the post was made to build up the guy to be heralded as a cellar stud. I do like looking at the cellars of others posted though, some eclectic cellars, some borne of discriminating tastes that quite often meet at the intersectionality of Damn, they are doing well!

My cellar floats around 60 lbs, which should last 7 - 9 years at my current rate of consumption. I figure I’ll keep it in that general vicinity for the next five years or so and then let it dwindle down so I don’t have too much to move to the care home.

I’m at 40 pounds. Most of my celler is boxed up in my son’s closet. The other half is in two kitchen cabinets.

Judging from these pictures. I say the first weekly meeting of TAD should start sooner than later😆
And Paddy, you can stop showing of all the great tobaccos that we can’t easily get in the colonies !
Kudos to ALL of you. You have great cellars no matter the size.

My wine cellar, the tobacco is through the Iron gates due to temp/ humidity differentials. Yes, very nice, Charles, but do you have any Grey Poupon?

This is my cellar... Tins are about 4 deep. It's pretty pathetic really. You've got a much better range of tinned baccy than I. I've not tried any of those blends.

for once, I'm the envy of another pipe smoker. Don't mean to rub it in... If it makes you feel better, I envy everyone else West of me.

for once, I'm the envy of another pipe smoker. Don't mean to rub it in... If it makes you feel better, I envy everyone else West of me. Not at all. It's both a touch sad but mostly amusing. Although I'm blown away by the cellars of our antipodean cousins [If I had access to a huge range of tobacco at U.S. prices, I'd have a huge cellar also] I'm actually grateful for what I do have. For seven years I smoked just three mediocre blends. Then I realised that I could order tobacco over the internet. Now I've got well over thirty different blends from which to choose. All good quality tobacco. I've even got a couple of 4oz tins each of SPC Plum Pudding and Mississippi River SR. Up until 18 months ago I had not ever tried a straight Virginia, a VaPer, no English, not even a VaBur. So I'm really pleased to now have what is to me, a large choice of various blends. Delighted would not be too strong a word, lol. Plus I've saved myself a fortune by taking on the man. Not that it's a big deal. To be honest I'm surprised that the worst penalty is just losing an order here and there.

The nice thing about having a good cellar, is that you can, upon occasion, gift something special to a friend, thereby enhancing their cellar and developing a nice friendship at the same time. I've enjoyed expanding Josh's horizons and he has done the same for me.

I am sure I have more than a few blends in the cellar that will not appeal to me. But, someone here will enjoy them, if things get tough.

A lot of members have influenced my tobacco purchase's and I really haven't had anything I didn't like. I avoid the What Cigar Are You Smoking thread because I would probably have a walk in humidor by now.

Thankfully my humidor only holds 4 boxes.

That's a good start, dont worry, it will multiply quickly once you get hit with the TAD bug.
