A past girlfriend, ex-fiance to be exact, once turned to me in a moment of silence and said, with a very profound and straight face, did you ever think about the timelessness of time? I was about to crack up and quickly replied, nope but I did pet a turtle once. She laughed as did I, but for different reasons.
