I’ve tried both Mississippi River and Plum Pudding and I try to always have MRiver in stock. I haven’t tried Reserve blends and they are very close to same cost as regular blends. Is there a noticeable difference and are those plugs difficult to prepare for smoking?

Easy to prepare and are a great step up. Truly worth grabbing the reserves.

I prefer the Special Reserve in the Plum Pudding brand...seems to be creamier than the regular although both are excellent...Mississippi River I'm not fond of.

I can only speak to the Plum Pudding SR. It is, in my opinion a smoother, richer, version of PP. Deeper tobacco flavors and certainly worth trying. Is it so much better that I'll never buy PP again, I doubt it. But when SR is on sale, I'll buy some more.

I’ll have to keep an eye out for sales on all SPC blends. I’m going to give them both a try to fill in my order for free shipping.
Potlatch is on sale for 15.99 an 8 ounce tin. It’s definitely a great blend worth trying and it’s different and complex.I would describe it as an aromatic English.Great room note but not from casings.Great in a meerschaum! Stronger than most blends in the N area. Coupon code is PCPS1907B.
