Okay, im sure ill get alot of appreciated feedback on this one. Ive tried about 10 different kinds of tobacco so far and none of them can i smoke all day. All are good when i want them, but thats when i have a crave for them. Ive gotten all aromatics and english blends so far with the exception of the Petersons Irish Flake and that is also not an all day smoke for me. Im looking for probably a burley from what my reading tells me that isnt too strong but not mild either. I was a heavy nicotine user before so i need something strong but the irish flake is too strong for numerous smokes a day. I would also like to be able to buy in bulk due to limited funds but tins/pouches are an option too.

Burley blends from C&D will probably work fine for you. Regular C& D burley smokers will likely list some recommendations.

I recommend: Solanii Aged Burley Flake; MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired; and C&D Haunted Bookshop, Pegasus, Billy Budd Blonde, and Old Joe Krantz. Look them up on www.tobaccoreviews.com and see what appeals to you.

When I switched to a pipe over eight years ago, I was a 40-a-day cigarette smoker. Choice in blends here is very limited so for 7 years I smoked medium strength blends with medium nicotine levels.
I'm an inhaler so when I discovered on-line tobacconists, I intentionally bought blends that have low nicotine, that are no stronger than mild to medium. This has worked for me really well. No longer do I crave nicotine.
I'm no longer fond of aromatics but when I did smoke them I found them tiring. I couldn't smoke them all day. Blends with a very light topping however, I can smoke regularly.
These are some that I highly recommend. Orlik Golden Sliced. Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake. Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake. C&D Marble Kake. MacBaren Golden Extra. Sutliff Early Morning Pipe Match.
Just several tasty blends that I could smoke several bowls a day without fatigue.

I can smoke (and sometimes do) Amphora Burley and Amphora Brown all day. Though the latter is more cavendish burley with VA and orientals. Still I highly recommend both.

Billy Budd Blonde and Old Joe Krantz gave me what I needed in the nicotine department when I laid off the cigs.
Now I use snuff (nasal) for nicotine and a pipe for enjoyment.
OGS is a good one, but no bulk. Comoys cask #4 and #7 are new favorites of mine that I could smoke any time of the day, or all day. Yorktown by C&D is a great bulk straight VA. Sutliff 515 RC is another good contestant.
I'm not much help in the Burley department, too much Burley makes my mouth feel like I'm eating lava.

Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic is easy going and can be all day for me. Edgar G. Robinson blend also works for me.

HH Burley Flake, Solani ABF, and Dunbar are my go-to all day smokes, but when I'm in the mood for aromatics or just don't want the house stinking, I also go for RLP-6 and 1Q. I like chain smoking cobs of 1Q while playing video games.
Prince Albert is also another one I just cant keep out of my pipe when I've a pouch in my pocket. And for the money, anyone can afford to smoke it all day every day.

Butternut burley for an all day smoke! I'm not fond of aromatics as a rule but Scottys Butternut Burley is an exception. It would be more accurate if it was called Butterscotch Burley. What a delightfully delicious tin-note. This is what I often smoke at social gatherings.

I'd throw carter hall into the mix here. You might surprise yourself. I always have a tub open and ready to go. I find myself reaching for it more than all of the other tobaccos that I have combined.

BURLEY and I don't get along well and I never liked the wet goop at the bottom of the bowl of Aromatics so I've been an all Virginia smoker for most of my near 50 years of smoking. I smoked Royal Yacht and Balkan Sobraini 759 till both disapeared from the market and now smoke * C&D's Yorktown, a smooth cool smoking all Virginia blend that makes a good all day smoke. It also is available in bulk at a very reasonable price. * Orlik's Golden Sliced , another smooth, cool smoking all Va blend in flake form that you can rub out to your preference. Not available in bulk though. *Arrango's Balkan Supreme, A near match for the old BS 759 which only comes in bulk at a VERY reasonable price for what it is ! All these have no Burley in them and smoke dry to a nice grey ash. No wet goop! I can smoke ANY of these as an an all day smoke and do often !
