the wife and I spent 23 hrs, on the train ride home yesterday. Repairs to some tracks resulted in down-time more than once along the way. At one point we sat still for over an hour ,but what the heck; we made it home safe, and slept in our own bed after spending our 42nd wedding anniversary on the rails.
Florida was wonderful, and our friend ,sweet gal that she is, was the perfect host...we hit some antique stores{ no tobacco related stuff tho } then 2 pipe shops ,and 1 "smoke " shop. More on the tobacco shopping in another thread!
the weather was fine ,with a lite shower along mid -day ,almost everyday...the wife spent each day at Gen's pool ,while I read or watched TV, and puffed away.
We grilled out ,most nights ,but one night Gen took us out for Cagun food ,to a place called Harry's ,for my "retirement dinner", and the food was just great; we had drinks, then fried green tomatoes ,followed by fried shrimp on yellow, sweetcorn grits 
...much later, after more drinks ,we teamed up and had fried oreo cookies ,O.M.G. 
,dumpling covered oreos ,deep fried and topped with a sauce of white chocolate and whiskey!!!
All in all, we had a wonderful trip, the people ,the weather ,the plant and animal life ,and even the food ,make for a great place to visit.
