I came upon a tin of this in the local B&M. Just had to have it. Now, I am deciding when to open it. It's so hot in Texas right now. English blends are like puffing on hot air.

Puff under air conditioning. That works for me.

I tend to like blends with Latakia more in the fall, winter and early spring. I think its nice in cool/colder weather but during the summer I smoke them as well though not as much. Mostly its a sweeter style of Latakia such as Sutliff's Aromatic English. With that said, when I do smoke something that's a more hearty or earthy Latakia blend in the summer, I grab for it either in the morning or late at night when the temperature is lower. So you can try that or just wait until you feel its the right time. If your local B&M has more of them, you might want to try it now no matter what. See if you like it so you can go back and buy all that is left.

Maybe I'm just used to hot weather but I smoke all genres regardless of the season. Which leads me to wonder how much humidity levels play regarding the smoking experience?

I've lived in Texas all my life and smoked London Mixture several years ago. Found it to be a nice smooth, well balanced English blend with a nice well balanced amt. of Latakia and other Orientals. I smoked it all year long and found the weather really had no effect on its' smoking nor my taste of it. Open it up and enjoy.

Agreed. Great blend. One of the few I stocked up on before the McClelland shutdown. Enjoy it in the fall and winter seasons, IMO.

The 3-4 week summer we experience here in North East Ohio will soon be over. You could send it to me and be assured it will be smoked it the perfect setting
Good for you! Nice find in a B&M!
