Good Morning, I did a search but didn't find anything regarding the Royal Meerschaum "Exclusive" line of pipes. I know they are not Block meers. From the website: "Although our Exclusive™ line of Royal Meerschaum Pipes are not 100% block meerschaum, our pipes are hand designed and specially formulated. Royal Meerschaum Exclusive™ Pipes are made with natural minerals and top quality Turkish Meerschaum, and will color just like block meerschaum pipes". Regarding the smoking characteristics of these pipes, I have owned pressed meers in the past and found them to smoke well. I bought a Royal Meerschaum to satisfy my curiosity and am very pleased. It smokes cool, has not gurgled, and has a neutral taste. It's heavier than a Block Meer but that is expected. I am not concerned about the coloring of the pipe since I do not expect it to do so very much if at all. In short, I am pleased with what I find to be a really good pressed meer pipe for a very inexpensive pipe (under $40.00). Does anyone else have experience with a Royal Meer?

I have no experience with pressed meer. After looking at their web site I don't know what to think. Their web site explains the $8.00 - $10.00 mini meets that are found in the smoke shops.
Hope you enjoy you smoke

At least their forthcoming. Someone recently asked if pressed meerschaum was still being made, so your post answers that.

At least their forthcoming. Someone recently asked if pressed meerschaum was still being made, so your post answers that. You're correct about that. Many forums claim pressed meers are no longer made which is not correct. The Royal Meers were a pleasant surprise. I am not one to spend freely for straight grain in briars or top grade meerschaum figural carvings, but I do like a well engineered pipe that gives a pleasant smoke. I prefer to splurge on the tobaccos (usually smoked in a Cob).
