I took a chance on three new to me blends and they all suit my palate.
Sutliff #707 Sweet Virginia - Right down the middle. No highs, no lows. Smooth with naturally sweet high notes. Bite free and non temperamental burn rate.
Stokkebye: PS312 Toasted Burley - A Stokkebye blend I have overlooked and that was a mistake. This will supplement my CH and when budget is tight, it can substitute with no regrets.
Planta: Mellow English: Tasty, not that strong, but not overly light either. As good a light English as I have ever experienced and Planta bulk prices were reduced and it is quite affordable at $25.00 a pound. For the quality received, this blend qualifies as a best buy. Note: previously known and reviewed as Mild English when it had 2 Latakia varieties. Renamed Mellow English with the demise of Syrian Latakia.

I've been curious about the 707, I'm a sucker when it comes to trying out VAs.
The toasted burley has also caught my eye, but I'm weary with Burleys. I love the flavor, but a lot of them give me lava mouth

The 707 is hard not to like. Moderate nic presence, not missing, but not in your face either. Slow burning with up to 45 minute smokes in a Legend.
The Toasted Burley does not have rough edges. More heft than a pouch OTC, but does not assault your taste buds.

3 for 3...that's good going in my book. I just checked what Planta we can get here, and yours isn't on the list.
Still, I'm happy for you.
