Starting the day with some G&H Sliced Brown Twist in an RDPipes Sandblasted Rhodesian Nose-warmer with Cumberland stem ... black coffee to drink. That is a beautiful example of Ron's wonderful art. Killington in the ruby by Cramps.

Some delicious Dunhill Flake (2011) in a Don Warren freehand sitter with a plateau rim and butterscotch acrylic stem. The tin note smells so sweet I’m getting stomach pangs. Fortunately I know tobacco does not taste what my senses perceive to be food.

My first time with Mixture 79. In a Legend. It's not the worst. At first I got some burning newspaper, but that quickly went away.

My first time with Mixture 79. In a Legend. It's not the worst. At first I got some burning newspaper, but that quickly went away. The base is Heine's Blend and the Burley comes more forward as the 'unique' topping burns off.

The base is Heine's Blend and the Burley comes more forward as the 'unique' topping burns off. It's not bad. It's a decent codger blend. I wasn't put off by the topping at all. Not sure why the bad rap. It certainly ain't Borkum Riff Bourbon Whiskey...
