I posted in the coffee snob thread but far from it.....Our daily fare. My cousin brought me some coffee from Uganda where she lives, that is really good, I would order more, but it appears that they lost their website.

I like good coffee, but 8 o'clock Colombian in a refillable k-cup is my daily. For many years that was the number 1 tasting coffee in consumer reports!

Don't recall the brands, but when I lived in the South, I drank tinned coffee with chicory and enjoyed them.

I drink Jumpy Monkey Good Morning Blend whole bean brewed in a Cuisinart Grind & Brew drip machine. Darn good coffee and Jumpy Monkey helps support disabled adults. It makes me feel better about my coffee addiction!

Not to bad Michael and it makes good espresso. Seaport is packaged the same way in the tight foil also inexpensive and tastes pretty good.

Maxwell House and Folger's both cheapened themselves after the financial crisis in '08. They used to be really solid 100% Arabica blends, sold at an everyman's price. During the crisis, to keep prices down, they adulterated the coffee. Now they are Arabica/Robusta blends, and they just don't taste like they used to.
I miss the taste of classic Maxwell House. I would pay good money to get that specific cup of coffee.

I really like Cafe Bustelo. It is an espresso blend, so it has a bunch of Robusta in it for the "kick," but it's a damn fine cup of coffee.
I've been told it was originally made for Cubans in America, to re-create the classic Cuban blend, but nowadays you can find it in most groceries, far away from New York or Florida. There must be a demand well beyond Cuban emigres!

As much as I enjoy a good cup of premium coffee it would get to expensive at the rate Kim and I drink it. We rotate with Folgers and Maxwell House because we drink three pots every morning. I have a commercial Bunn with the water hookup so we can keep the coffee flowing.

We drink Pikes Place, wife’s gets a 2 lb bag at Walmart for about 12 to 15$ I believe, it doesn’t last long , now our son is living with us it will go faster. Cant drink anymore with meds I take, so beer and wine money goes on coffee.

I have no idea the thread title means....Some food coloring and water??😀 Sounds like my dads coffee. It looks more like dirty water, then he uses enough cream to make it almost white. I like mine STRONG. Even when he puts cream in my coffee it stays dark brown/orange

We get the Community coffee in 2.5 pound bags at Sam's for about $15 and it makes us happy. French pressed of course. Most mornings it's Nescafe Classic Dark Roast, which is acceptable and actually much better than the coffee at the gas station, IHOP, and Dennys. My favorite was Marley Coffee Lively Up but it got too expensive. I bought some highly rated Douwe Egberts instant coffee and it wasn't as good as the Nescafe. It was worth it though because the jars are perfect for holding my favorite blends and seem to keep them fresh. Drank 454 HP coffee for a while, but it wasn't worth the price either. I use the Bustello and Lavazza in the moka pot. Papagalos Loumidis for the Greek coffee.

I've made much more expensive coffee in my Bonavita Connoisseur coffee maker but few have satisfied more than Café Bustelo.I'm always looking for value...…..this is it

Drinking "Chock Full Of Nuts" as I write. Think it a regional blend.

I just want it to taste like coffee and get my motor running. Maxwell House, Folger's, sometimes Yuban (if on sale, though it seems to have changed). Brewed in my trusty Proctor Silex drip maker. Nice twist to the other thread. I buy whatever is cheap. I can't taste the difference. It all tastes like coffee to me.

To Truc's point, I still enjoy Yuban, but back in the 80's it was better stuff, I still buy it. To Paddy's point, he pretty much nails it for me...we are from a better class of losers, from Randy Travis.

Yuban is still good stuff they bought Arbuckles coffee many many years ago, Arbuckles the coffee that won the west. You can still buy Arbuckles but it is spendy stuff. Still comes with a peppermint stick in the bag just like in the wild west days. www.arbucklecoffee.com/
