Well the new disorder for me is finding vintage Ronson lighters. For my birthday my daughter bought me a Vintage Ronson Tabletop lighter and it worked perfectly..for fathers day my wife bought me a different Ronson tabletop lighter that matched the first one. A few weeks ago we visited the Zippo Museum in Bradford Pa and hanging on the wall was an old Ronson add showing an entire Ronson collection and guess what? The two lighters that I got as gifts are Part of a set that includes 5 lighters, a cigarette cup and silver platter. I have since found lighter number 3 of the set and am watching the last two lighters on Ebay... The cup and tray come up now and then so that will also be on my radar. I am also buying the vintage Zippo Scrimshaw lighter series..AGAIN. I had 5 of them but getting married..moving..quitting trucking all in the last 15 years all of my scrimshaw Zippos have gone missing. I did find and replace one scrimshaw I bought with one of my early pipes but now I see how MANY there are! So now it is time to keep my LAD in check!!

crapgame after looking at the link you posted I looked at one of my shelves and saw a table lighter. On the top row of the link there are some pics. There is a pic of a Ronson Royal Crown. Sitting on my shelf there sits a lighter that looks just like it but in better shape. The only difference my lighter says Omsolite, doing some quick research found it was made by Ronson between 1947 and 1952. Looking at the pics they are the same lighter.

Just arrived! A very cool old zippo-style three-way lighter. The casing is pinstriped and there is a blank label for engraving. In very good looking and working condition.

Favorite lighter is still the Beattie Jet lighter...got 2 from good friend Sante (RIP), gave 1 to my friend AJ and kept the other. But my most expensive one is my Dunhill from back in the 60's.

Gosh, can't believe that there are still Beatties out there! Had one 50 years ago, and it was fun to use. Sorry it jumped off a cliff decades ago.
