I just received an email from SP. They have a limited edition run of ODF Plug for $12.50.
I couldn’t pass this one up. I bought 2 tins.

By increasing the price and only producing 2000 tins, they’ve created a sense of urgency to the consumer. In actuality, you’re correct. The price should be lower if their production costs are less. But, that will never happen. |

Seems a bit redundant. Cut it into flakes which are already available, or shave it into ready rubbed which is also available, or cut into flakes and cube cut it which you can already do with the flakes.

I like plugs so I picked up 2! And, I think the age potential on this tobacco is high. (But, I finally broke my need to get "free" shipping. I was going broke trying to get "free" shipping.)

Thanks, Wolfman!  I think that some of these companies are keying on on the limited release generating the buzz...C&D, Smoker's Haven, SP's release of Squadron with Perique, etc... I would never partake in such an act.  Pretty smart marketing, throwing catnip into the middle of us feral cats. |

Somehow I've never tried ODF, but have always wanted to. I like plugs, I'm not sure why, but I just do. If I wouldn't have spent a years worth of TAD funds, I would have finally picked some up... just because it was a plug.

I gave up chasing free shipping unless its within $15. By the time I pay tax and shipping, that extra tin or few ounces is worth it.
With my last round of 2 pounds of Yorktown it was tempting, but I resisted. I'm slowly regaining control over my TAD.
