Looking forward to seeing you and your husband, Lady Margaret likewise! You were standing right next to Walter Hettinger, while I was talking serious shop with him. He was critiquing my pipes, and I couldn't interrupt it. I didn't see where you went afterwards. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you!

I took pictures (and short video clips) during the tour, but didn't think about it otherwise. It was a great time. Sutliff had everything well organized.
The tins of McClelland 5100 were a very nice surprise.

Thanks for the pictures! Questions, are the wood barrels in the second picture Hogsheads? Is that Perique in the plastic lined boxes in the third picture? I was kinda following the show via friends on Facebook and Instagram and it looked like a great time.

I don't recall now what they said was in those boxes (maybe someone with a better memory can chime in).
Here's a barrel of raw perique. I wish I could share the amazing aroma.

Had a great time at the show and was happy to meet some members I haven't before and to catch up with some I have met before. Picked up a couple estates, a Viking and GBD bent billiard. I also picked up a nice Rinaldo large bulldog and a Red Dog (Basil Meadows) poker. Both are great smokers. Also picked up some tobacco.

I was just talking to a guy from your area in NWAR at the KC Pipe Show a couple of weeks ago. I think there's an active club at Romeo's in the Bentonville area. The KC, STL and the TX Pipe Show in the Dallas Metroplex this weekend are pretty close. From all reports the TX Pipe Show a fun show in a unique location!
PS Not a show but the Missouri Meerschaum 150th Bash is happening this weekend too. I tried to bait MrsLaX into a long weekend with some Laura Ingalls stops but so far no luck.

Is that the Grabow metal pipe that was at the table close to the entrance? I looked at that one, if it is, and almost snagged it.
