Looks like I should have been more careful. Time for a new stem, and a good time for a forever stem. This Legend is over a year old.

That sucks. You pay more in shipping than what the stem will cost you.

Or maybe go for free shipping? Lol I'm not sure how it happened. It was in the center counsel of my car. Maybe I set a different pipe in there that still had smoldering tobacco? Beats me

Put a hole on the other side and it'll make a cool effect when you smoke it.

Looks like a job for electrical tape or better yet duct tape and or utility wrap. Cigarette cellophane melts into a good plastic repair as well.

I'm sure I'll just use electrical tape. I use that 💩 for everything. Hard telling how many pints of blood I've saved because of it.

I have a couple of spare unsmoked Legends that I could pull a stem from, but what's the fun in that? I also have a bent that is in roughly the same condition as this one.

If you haven’t bit the bullet on a forever stem do it! I have twelve cobs, all have forever stems and they make a cob really stand out. The draft holes are a bit small though, I would recommend drilling it out a size or two to prevent gurgling. Did these with mine and they are 👌

I use the Danish stem on all my filter pipes. Better stem and no filter. I never use filters on anything anyway. I like my tar to be straight. It's not a pressing matter, but I've wanted to pick up a forever stem anyway, this gives me good reason. Also, I'm loving my Diplomat more and more each smoke.

You can buy a Forever stem, (I have 2) or 2 dozen Danish stems, which I like just as well.

This just in from Walker Briar Works Ten months since our last newsletter and a lot has been going on. New stems, new colors and new styles, not the least of which is a full selection of "Slim Style" stems to fit MM's Non-Filtered Cobs. Thanks to all of our friends for your orders and many suggestions for new stuff. We keep doing everything we can to take smoking MM's wonderful cob pipes to the next level. Have a wonderful rest of the year!!! Regards, Dave & Sue Wolff (and of course... Missy) $4.00 Off Sale - Starting Now - on All Lucite 2 3/4 inch Spear Style Stems! Beginning now through midnight tomorrow, October 5th, we are offering $4.00 off on all our Lucite 2 3/4 inch Spear style 'Forever' stems. Order the 2 3/4 inch Spear style stems at the full price. As soon as we send you a confirmation, we will issue a refund for the discounted amount. Slim Style 'Forever' Stems for the MM Non-Filtered Cobs We now make stems to fit MM Non-Filtered Cobs. We refer to these stems as Slim Style. There is a list on the right side of the 'Forever' Stems web page showing which MM Cobs they fit. 'Spear' Style Lucite Stems - 3 1/2 Inches We were finally able to get these 3 1/2 inch Spear stem blanks this summer. They add a real "Classy" look and feel to the larger filtered style MM Cobs, shown here on a Mark Twain. Very cool, both looking and smoking. I personally love 'em! 'Semi Military' Style Lucite Stems We now have these stems in lots of colors. Stems are 3 inches long that not only look great on cobs, but as with all our stems, have the proper 1/8 inch airway. This makes your cobs smoke even dryer and cooler. You won't believe the difference! A "COOL" Newbie Color We added a new and unique color stem that we're calling "Ice Blue". This color comes in four style stems (3 1/2 inch Spear, 2 3/4 inch Spear, Nose Warmer and Semi-Military). Changes to the Website As part of incorporating the Slim Style stems to our site, we added a 'Forever' Stem Overview page. This was done to help differentiate the Filtered Style stems and the Slim Style stems. From this page you can access each of the two stem pages. This page also lists which MM cobs fit which type of stem. A big thanks to Marilyn from Missouri Meerschaum, for helping us put the list together. Marilyn is our "not-so-in-house" Missouri Meerschaum expert (if she doesn't have the answer... there isn't one!). Shipping We ship within 24 hours - 98% of the time! Domestic First Class shipping is only $4.00 for any number of items. The transit time for USPS First Class is 3 to 5 days. We have added an option to upgrade shipping to Priority which is 1 to 3 days transit time and includes $50 insurance.
