Just at SP looking at this Danish carver's pipes. There are some good looking pipes with visual flair, all priced under a $100.00. His pipes don't show up here too often. What is your experience with this maker?

I thought they were German. Regardless, I have only heard good things about them.

A former carver for Bjarne, Mogens 'Johs' Johansen produces his pipes in Frederikshaven, Denmark.

I used to have a couple of his pipes and liked them. He carves like a madman!

I have seen quite a few. I think they are under valued on the estate market. They look good when all cleaned up.

Skip, down in Alabama? Has a great shop that always carried a good selection of them. I had one, and it had a great open draw.

I have 5 Johs pipes. Great pipes for the price. I like the taste of the wood that he uses.
