One of the greatest drummers ever! I really loved his Funk / Fusion band he formed shortly after Cream.

He was great. I used to sit in my car before school with 8-track on 11 to get my head in the right place for school. Wheels of Fire. Born Under a Bad Sign.

Born under a Bag Sign, with windows up all the way, the levels maxed out on the 8-track {EVEN WITH THE RATTLE} and my 1970 Nova filled with smoke...how'd we ever make it to class?

RIP Ginger.
Get used to it folks, there are a lot of rockers that are getting long in the tooth.

RIP Ginger. Get used to it folks, there are a lot of rockers that are getting long in the tooth. Indeed! Our generational icons are heading for the last Roundup. For me, loosing Levon Helm was a great loss as The Band carried me through the '60s and '70s. There are so many others, great and smaller. Dan Hicks. I worry over Jesse Colin Young, although I am in regular touch with him on FB. Taj Mahal is still going. A giant of music and a man I much love since the late 1960s. It is tough loosing them. That is the plan we signed on for.
