Had my first bowl after many months this morning. Once the hot weather hits I just don't crave the pipe as much but this weekend brought some fall temps and my morning commute was complete with a bowl of 1Q to kick off my pipe season with a staple. Got a staple of great tobacco's that have been sleeping all summer in their jars waiting to come alive again.
Looking forward to dipping into some new stuff as well and as always I will make sure to report back when I do.

Forgot how contemplative my commute pipes were. Listening to my audiobook and falling in love all over again with my favorite blends. This morning was PS Luxury Navy Flake. Boy do I love that stuff when I get that burst of figgy/spicy goodness. I need to work with it more to try to find the sweet spot as I can't seem to figure out what cadence makes it sing. I only get a dozen or so puffs that really explode with the flavor. Not saying the rest of the bowl isn't enjoyable at all.

Welcome back!
I get it, dripping sweat is NOT the way to enjoy a pipe. Looking forward to your reviews and commentary.

You certainly cannot control the seasons, so you shouldn't let the seasons control what you enjoy. That is where a local B&M comes to the rescue...The house of cigar in Sharonville shows pipe tobacco on their website. houseofcigar.net/products.htmlWelcome back!
