Tough I did see that Smokingpipes now has a couple of Dunhill tobaccos in stock. I wonder if these are old stock or the new Peterson tobaccos.

I wonder if these are old stock or the new Peterson tobaccos. The new tobaccos are branded with Peterson (not Dunhill) on the label.

Thanks for notice. All Dan tobaccos restocked, btw.
That Salty Dogs is spendy. By contrast, two 50 gram tins of Peterson 3-P's can be had for $19.10.

Thanks for the heads up, I ordered a couple bags of Hamborger Veermaster for deep cellaring, and a tin of Treasures of Ireland to kick in the free shipping. www.smokingpipes.com/tobacco/by-maker/dan-tobacco/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=145482I have heard people rave about this blend, it really sounds like the recipe for Peter Stokkebye Bullseye Flake.....I was wondering if anyone has any experience comparing the two. Funny story... When McClellands went out of business, I had gotten word from a buddy in the pipe club that there was a tobacconist that had some in stock, I went by there and a woman did everything but put the thumbscrews on me telling me that the few tins of Dan Tobacco on her shelf were the last I would ever see in the US... she had the last tin ever in the USA for $40.00, and I would regret not buying it....no regrets not buying it. www.smokingpipes.com/pipe-tobacco/dan-tobacco/Hamborger-Veermaster-50g/product_id/9538

It was mistakenly priced at $60.00. They remedied the error in less than a half hour and adjusted the price to $45.00.

Thank you, had I seen it at $60.00, I would have taken a pass.
I passed the edit window...I goofed...should be:

kudos to libertysmoke, he got the thread rolling. Dan/DTM tobaccos have been out of stock for a long while. There's a good price on 250 gram Sweet Vanilla Honeydew, as well.

Although I veer away from most aromatics, Vanilla Honeydew has quite an appeal just by the name, and this reviewer's comments really makes me wish I had some cellared.

A friend sent me a sample of Salty a few months ago. I liked it very much. Tasty and unusual.

Thanks for the update! I'm cellared deep on the Dan Tobacco blends I like. Salty Dog, SVH, and Hamborger Veermaster.

DaVinci is half of my red wine soup franken blend. Really nice mixed with my secret ingredient. You get 5100 guesses.
