Years ago when I was in scouts smoking my lane 1Q the scout master came over to me and gave me some Cutty Pipe to smoke. I dont remember too much about it other than it gave me a serious tobacco "high" for a 16 year old kid. does anyone remember this old blend and can you tell me more about it?

Rings no bells. Do you recall the cut? First thought of course is some variety of Navy flake.

Sounds like it may be in the same wheelhouse as Cotton Boll Twist ... strong plug for chewing or smoking.

I’m sorry, but I’m only familiar with their scotch, Cutty Sark.

Anne Dinkins at Sutlif told me a very close tobacco to Cutty Pipe would be MacBaron Golden Extra. Soo, I see a tin of that in my future!

I coulda swore that I had some in the cellar, just checked... and could not find it.

There is a reason that some call MacBaren, MacBite.... Time heals all (potential future mouth) wounds.
