I can see why they would go for mega bucks. The quality is superb. Those blocks have been skilfully shaped to show off that awesome grain.

The fat shanked Dublin is outstanding. mgtarheel is right, the staining is what makes them.

Reminds me of the old staining on the Blue Ribands, and Selected straightgrains of the 60's Comoy pipes.
