 Herman Frederich was a workmate and friend, his nickname was Hoghead Herman, an affectionate plant name, he was a volunteer policeman, vol firefighter and the best jambalaya cook around Gonzales LA, he was my best right hand man, give him a job and it was done quickly and right, loved his family. Ridiled with cancer they are burying him today, I never told you how much of a good man you were Herman, I’m doing it now. Your ride to the heavens I hope will be pain free and you will meet good people on your way , your legacy is one many men aspire but few attain, You were a good man.   |

Aw brother, I'm so sorry to hear this. You have my deepest sympathy. It's a good reminder to tell those people who are still alive how much they mean to us.

He had your friendship, and also your respect; working side by side will build a bond stronger than steel. I'm so sorry for your loss. from the snapshot, he looks like someone who would share a tailgate and a funny story, but also be around when time are bad...when folks like that pass ,our world grows much smaller.
