Actually, I came upon this at work...in the dispatch office there is a box full of clipboards, grab one put your manifest on it and head out. I was at the break room table and wanted to prepare tobacco on the same table dock workers ate their lunch on without shaving plug tobacco on the table surface. I generally tell the linehauld drivers that this is part of my pre-trip...done on the clock of course....I still get out of the yard quicker than most.

That's a great Idea Charlie. The only problem for me is my dumb arse would lean on the overhanging end getting out of the chair and fling everything all over the place. |

Off topic trailbossCharlie - I haven’t read his autobiography, but I’ve read a biography of Bob Dole. What a great story - and not just his war experience and recovery. It was very inspirational. |

It has been a long time since I read that book, he overcame some real trials in life that tell quite a story... I didn’t always agree with him on policy issues, but I think that his heart was always in the right place. |
