I don't own one, but everything I've read about them is quite positive.

I was looking at some Jeppesen pipes in my local shop a couple months ago. I had no idea he was related to the Neerup brand. I gotta say, they were beautiful pipes, nice and thick, light, beautiful finishes. I was tempted. I'm still tempted.

I just got my second one. Neerup was recommended for their big bowled churchwarden. My new one is their BASIC, and it has a 1.9 inch deep bowl. I love this pipe.

OK guilty of conspicuous consumption. I now have several Neerup big bolwed churchwardens.
I have enough that I can smoke one bowl per pipe all day long. I can rotate pipes while enjoying the same pipe!
What a great great pipe. My big bowled Neerup churchwardens, the basic and the classic, and my Savinelli 320 EXs, well those are my favorites now, and I occasionally go to other pipes just so I can come home again.
I owe a debt of gratitude to the member that first recommended Neerup to me. He doesn't realize how much pure pleasure resulted from his casual recommendation.

If you are the one, I can't find the original recommendation, well a thousand thankyews!! Think is that the greatest thing we can do in this forum IMO is to recommend something, with our natural enthusiasm, and perhaps bring a tonne of joy down upon them. It was a thread I can nolonger find, where we discussed our dream pipes, what would be perfect we we had all the levers, and I mentioned that dreamed of a pipe with the length of a churchwarden, but a big bowl like the 320EX. And someone recommended Neerup and my dream came true.

jeffd I also picked up a Neerup Churchwarden a while back. Ive yet to smoke it. It's a MASSIVE pipe, but thats why I finally bought it. I didnt get the first one that I wanted (black and purple) because it sold, but I found one a few days later that I liked just as much. Ill be sure to put fire to it this weekend and report back

Had you not started the thread, @pistol Pete would have kept the secret to himself!
😝
I hope that he is doing well, he always had good contributions.
