I have COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. Therefore, I must quit pipe smoking. I have been in the hospital 13 times since the end of May with fluid in my lungs. I will miss the posts here, but they only make want to enjoy a bowl. With that, I will log off for a final time.

Sorry to hear of your illnesses...best to stay away from whatever gives you a problem...wouldn't think that pipe smoking could give you a problem since you probably don't inhale the smoke.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, nicotene is a vascoconstictor, and one would do well to abstain or use very moderately when blood needs to travel to affected areas. I certainly did not know it until I underwent operations on both shoulders. |
