If you could only smoke one blend, what would it be and why? No if or that just one blend! For me it would be Orlik's Golden Sliced 'cause it rubs out easily, lights easily (fully rubbed out), is smooth, tastey, and cool smoking. Smokes to a nice grey ash all the time with no "goop" at the end.

I'm pretty sure that there is an existing thread asking this, but, now that you've asked.
Penzance, as it's been my favorite since the first puff 6 years ago. Incapable of tongue bite, rich flavor reminiscent of an old creosote soaked Goodyear racing tire thrown onto a campfire, that uses railroad timbers for fuel.
If it one day ceases to exist, then I will smoke Pirate Kake, Old Ironsides, Plum Pudding, Commonwealth, or any one of the 50%+ heavy Latakia blends on the market. Latakia is the only tobacco I will be buying in the future, luckily I have found what flavor family floats my boat, simply not interested in any others.

Well for me it has been GLP Piccadilly a nice English breakfast that is nice and complex with Latakia, Perique, Virginia. The Virginias are really the star of the show in this one. I like it because it does not ruin smoking a regular Virginia or Vaper a little later on.

Right now it would probably be HH Old Dark Fired.
Of course, I'm still a new piper and haven't tried even a fraction of what I have bought right now, so who knows?

I concur on OGS. It’s the one blend I don’t get tired of smoking

OGS is a favorite of mine as well, and one that I dont get tired of. Yorktown is the same way.
Since I can only pick 1, Yorktown, hands down.

Butternut Burley is the one tobacco I enjoy couple times a day...never get tired of it.

I haven't found "the one" yet. If I was hard pressed, it might be a toss up between Five Brothers and Dark Bird's Eye, but then I'd miss a good Balkan. Now, if I could find a good dirty Balkan with some good strong Burley and orientals up front, that might be it.
OGS is up there, though. It never let's me down.

Peretti Royal, Cambridge flake, or Esoterica Margate. I know, that's not one, but despite their differences, I'd be equally happy being stuck with any of the three. Even better is the fact that I can have them all, with some MacBaren Scottish Mixture thrown in occasionally .

I am an unashamed Penzance, Margate and Stonehaven fanboy.
That being said, I would probably pick Margate.
Why, you may ask?
Because it's the easiest one to smoke, for me.
Fewer re-lights, no rubbing out, and an exquisite experience. Every time!

like Penzaholic, gotta be 50% Cypress latakia. Right now, at the top, the diabolical 10Russians. close behind in no particular order, PirateKake, Pease Abingdon, Blackpoint & daVinci. Right on, fellow lataholics!

You mentioned Plum Pudding. How about the reserve version?

I'd have to go with Presbyterian mixture. It was the first non aro that I tried and I have at least one bowl of it a day. There are many others that I like but this is one that I always reach for if I can't make my mind up as to what to smoke.

I going to go with McClelland Red and Black. That way I have 3 different blends in 1.

I can’t decide, but I’ve narrowed it down to ONE of the following:
(1) Amphora Brown (original) (2) Orlik Golden Sliced (3) Watch City Deluxe Crumble Cut
And my desert blend is Deluxe Crumble Cut !

Pure Latakia & OGS. I found that half OGS & half Cherry Cavendish tastes like candy. I smoke that sometimes. But I am going with the pure Latakia as my #1 tobacco.🧙🏼♂️

If all other tobaccos were unavailable, then I guess I would be satisfied with Captain Black Royal.

I'm going to have to go with the old standby of Sir Walter Raleigh. Simple, easy blend that hits the spot everytime and is readily available and inexpensive. Ticks all the boxes.

My favorite hasn't changed in a long while. McClelland's Yenice Agonya.

The desert island blend is always a tough one, but at this particular moment in time, I'm going with Peterson Irish Whiskey. I currently can't get enough of it.
