If you could only smoke one blend, what would it be and why? No if or that just one blend! For me it would be Orlik's Golden Sliced 'cause it rubs out easily, lights easily (fully rubbed out), is smooth, tastey, and cool smoking. Smokes to a nice grey ash all the time with no "goop" at the end. Me too. cause it taste great.

Any port in a storm!
That being said some ports are more welcoming than others so here’s hoping they at least speak English!
But seriously, FMOTT has delivered more ‘nearvana’ bowls than any other and I only have one unopened tin left! I’ll say give me the weight of what I have now in FMOTT and I’d be contented.
Apropos, and still seriously, does anybody have any FMOTT to sell/trade?

... does anybody have any FMOTT ... I wish I did. That was my favorite of the Frogs. You may like Peterson Old Dublin. It's a similar blend that I actually prefer. OD is a bit stronger than FMOTT, but isn't quite as smooth, IMHO.

This is a hard one. I would perhaps lean towards Carter Hall, but after that one bowl of Presbyterian mixture over a month ago, I may consider that. I need to have more bowls of it though.

I could never do just one. With 300+ blends ready at any time in my cellar, I love having variety. If I had only one, it would have to be there was some huge event like WWIII and I had to run for my life.
With that said, if it were to happen right now, I hope to grab a cob and jar full of Sutliff Mocha Strips.
In a month or two that will change.

If I could obtain a sufficient stash I would go for HU Directors Cut. But realistically, I could be content with MacBaren Navy Flake.

after 40 years as a pipe smoker I still haven't tried any Watch City blends or Wilkie{ spelling? }blends, so the island question is a hard one. If I could, and I had to , I'd reach back in time for a huge hogshead of Christmas Cheer 06 ,or McCelland's #24 or #27...
Then I think...what about good ole Carter Hall or Larry's Blend from Russ?
Nope, I'm just an old slut when it comes to tobacco!
