Never saw a mole. Had a big crop of armadillos the last couple of years. One of the parents was flattened on the road behind the house last week. We don't have much of a yard because of all the trees and we're too old to keep up with the flower beds so we might as well raise armadillos. I don't have anything against them, and they are Texans after all. I really hate possums, but they are supposed to be good to have around. The leprosy in armadillos is greatly exaggerated. Besides, no one dies from leprosy any more. Easier cured than the flu. I like dillos, but I don’t support giving them guns because... I would never armadillo. Zarnicky have a mole on cheek. Groooaan! 😁

No moles to speak of in these parts. Northern pocket gophers. Same pest but bigger.

I hear snakes are effective. And Jack Russell Terriers. This is one of the reasons I try not to kill any snake including our Prairie Rattlesnake (Crotalus Viridis). Fortunately, the Diamondback is very rare here. the damage moles do to irrigation ditches is hard to imagine.
