Carolina Red Flake is nearly sold out everywhere, but I've managed to obtain two cases, which are now available at The Pipe Nook!
A blend of the finest North Carolina grown red Virginias, Carolina Red Flake is Cornell & Diehl's tribute to the Old Belt. Taken straight from Carolina soil, these top-tiered Virginias are all grown, thrashed, blended, and then lovingly pressed and carefully sliced in the heart of old tobacco country. Combining a hay-like grassiness with subtly sweet, tangy notes, it's a minimalist blend with a complex flavor: rich, deep, and earthy with hints of dried fruits and citrus. This entry into the Small Batch series was tinned in September of 2019 and has a numbered limited production run of 10,000 Tins!
I would recommend you grab at least two of these tins: one to smoke now, and at least one to age in your cellar and enjoy in the years to come!
