Something to work towards. I don't know if my wife could put up with me for 80 years.

I dont think I'm even going to have to put up with myself for 80 years.
Congrats to them though, that's a hell of a feat

That's impressive. I wonder what their secret is. Larry’s post sent me looking yesterday, this is a few years back and they share advice... not sure if it is the same couple. www.littlethings.com/longest-married-couple-85-years/An old Arizona rancher had been married close to 60 years I asked him.... “Treat her like a thorobred, and you will never end up with an old nag” was his response.

I simply don't want to live that long. I reckon that having excellent health, and a super marriage makes quite the difference... missing either of those components, I get it. Being that old, I wonder if he is on a pension... that and SS probably has people in the offices wondering if these old farts are going to outlive them.

That's great for them.........I myself wish not to live that dang long. I have the same physical strength of a 95 year old man, and believe me, it's not fun at all, as life is a constant struggle just to get through the day with constant fatigue. I've had 32 falls in the last 5 years and somehow, avoiding breaking any bones.

I'm still able to do what I have to and some things I want and I have to thank the Lord for that. My ailments (shall we call them) is not the reason I don't wish to live that long, and without going into details let's just say that's is too long.

Both my parents lived past their 90’s. But me at 90? I would rather take the earlier train.🚂🧙🏼♂️
