When I took the pipe back up in about 2014 and started cellaring, I was getting P&C's Calendar and it was a handy way to look ahead at what sales were going to take place in the future and plan accordingly. I noticed in the last few years, as my cellaring has dropped off I no longer get the calendars...I always assumed it was a seasonal freebie. Today I got an email that says that if I place an order of $59.00 or more I qualify for a free calendar. Rather than send the pipes and cigar and cigars international catalogs, it would be nicer to have the calendar. Or you can by one for $13.00

The intent of a commercial calendar is to Sell to you. Charging for that, is frankly, insulting. I am old enough to remember when calendars were given away free and in such volume, that there was one in every room of your home, shop and garage.

Well there is an upside, if you place a $59.00 order, you get an instant savings of $15.01!  I am pretty sure that I received a catalog and calendar in the past without an order. |

Just got this in the mail. I haven't placed an order or ordered it, it just showed up. It sounds like a random thing...I do live farther west, so one may show up in a day or two. When I was buying heavy, I never got freebie offers, but others that rarely bought from P&C had mentioned that they had received $20.00 credits on their accounts. I contacted P&C and told them that I knew about it and suspected that they were trying to wake up dormant buyers...they responded that was definitely what they were doing, and gave me the same deal. |

They also remember your Birthday with a 10% off discount that can be combined with other promotions.

I have no beef with P&C, they have always treated me right, the calendar thing is silly though...$22.00 shipped....probably a matter of cranial flatulence on the website.

2020 Calendar now available at Ace Hardware and it is Free. Since the buttheads at P&C aren't sending me a calendar, I'll head over to Ace and pick a couple up...probably will buy some stuff while I am there. P&C just pi$$es me off every time I think of them. |
