Found this at the door 3 days ago, been in a shoe box with hand warmers, feeding with eye dropper, wife got up 3 times last night to feed it, you can't take the mother out of the mother.

You've got your work cut out for you for the next 2 mo's till it'll feed on it's own. I have a "tiny tabby" I found when she was about that age and she's now 15 years old. Raising them from that age will give you a friend for life. Stay with it, it's worth it ! Here's a pic of my "tiny tabby" I took last year!

Bless you for taking the kitten in.
I have about ten cats. Four now three indoor and a squad outside living under the house and in an attached utility room. I loose a few each year to predators. New ones are born.
No mice and mice were a problem here at one time.
I find cat behavior endlessly fascinating.

You've done a wonderful thing. The little tike will thank you for it...perhaps not openly.

Very cute kitty! I've done that with 4 that were abandoned by a (too) young feral in my backyard. My dogs spooked her off when the kittens were hours old. The momma came back, but moved them into the neighbors yard where his dog scared her off. I took them in and we nursed them. We have one, a friend took the other three in, one ended up going to a rescue to get adopted thanks to pet restrictions at the apartment they moved to, but they have the other two still.

So true, they are God's lil creatures, and we are responsible for taking care of them, as we ourselves.
