Well if you really want to go down the rabbit hole, I could say that you need a good computer monitor to actually see if your camera pics look great. But I digress... Could never find a reason to own a computer.

Phones can take quite decent photos! Yep Is that a 920ks? I have one that looks exactly like it but without the saddle stem. Can't beat a deluxe Milano.

And most of the time, old stuff = fix it yourself. But, for me that is a simple chore.

May I just say I'd rather have 2.5 million good pixels than 40 million mediocre ones. The lens still makes a difference. And the resolution and dynamic range of digital cameras surpassed film over ten years ago. Film is still great, but for dedicated hobbyists and those who love 8 track tapes, VHS, foldable maps, and turntables. For me the lens is he critical element. 20 years ago, I purchased my first Digital Camera, a Sony with a Zeiss lens. That seemed an excellent combination of superior capabilities. It was an excellent camera and I miss it. Apparently, stolen as it disappeared from the shelf where it has been kept for all these years. I paid about $900 for it then. I saw one on Ebay for about $80 and thought about buying another. I realize there have occurred technical advances since then. Speaking of film. I still have a Canon Rangefinder 35mm camera around here someplace.

I get it for $15 a month extra with my carrier. It's pretty limited but it works for E-mail and forums just fine

I mainly use the internet for two pipe forums and shopping so a full computer setup would be a waste for me.
