I just read that it's been at least 80 degrees in Key West Florida for the last 233 days..I'm getting ready to bundle up and go walking on a cold breezy day here in Carolina..Kinda makes you wonder about things.

High 70's here all week still ... payback for the 110°F summer days!

54 in Houston area but the payback is 90+/90% humidity for five months of the year. I believe every place has a trade off of some kind. I have lived in deserts for half my life and I will take trees any day over rocks and thorns.

50 here, raining since last night. I'll take this over the 110+ heat index.

Lived in Key West for a couple months, back when I was working for Marriotts Hotels. 4PM every day the wind would stop and leave you gasping, then it would rain. Could walk across the Island in about 10 minutes...small place, but crowded.

I love it here in the Phoenix valley, but I have to admit I do sorely miss the Evergreens and ferns of the pacific northwest.

I have no idea what consistent weather would be like. Not sure if I'd like it or get bored of it.
No chance of that happening here.

I think if I ever went there (Northwest), i would never come back. It's beautiful up there.

Southern AZ is no Southern FL in the winter but I'll take it over a Midwest winter. It's been sunny and in the low 80's since I've been here in Green Valley.
