But they're special because they're bamboo!
Since they're only good for Dunhill's, I have no need for them.

And to think, I've been using the crappy wooden ones for almost two years... I'm looking at three of them right now and one has a nut on it. AKA weighted for true tamping control.

This just seems as low as it gets to me. Maybe I am getting senile. I golf 4-6 times a month and I see bamboo tees all the time. I think you can get a bag of 250 for the same price.

FWIW: I will sell you six of those same pipe tampers (for Dunhill or any other pipe) for the same price and half the shipping price. What a deal!
In other deals: you can get 100 of those same pipe tampers (bamboo golf tees) from Aliexpress for $2.24, delivered.
Marketing, you have to love it. But you don't have to buy it.

Why did he include a pic of himself(?) In the last picture? To prove he is a genuine pipe smoker selling a genuine pipe tool, more to less? Several years ago there was this guy selling on eBay as "the drunken sailor". He sold certificates proving that you bought the drunken sailor a beer. You could purchase a certificate for the price of, that's right, a beer. At least he was up front about it. He told you all your were getting was a piece of paper, a cheesy certificate. He sold thousands of them.

It's a proven business model. Slap on the Dunhill tag and stick it to 'em.

In addition to the certificates, he sold a bunch of his ex-wife’s beanie babies at the height of that rush. His ad copy was priceless. He was using that money to buy power tools. The he started selling Drunken Sailor branded merchandise. At that point I started suspecting it was a plot or a marketing class project that hit the big time. Regardless, it was fun to watch. I have to admit I nearly bought a certificate just for the fun of it.

When Barnum made his famous statement about the frequency of sucker-birth, the world had a much smaller population.

Some people will try and sell anything to make a buck. As a smart man said once, "There's a sucker born every minute!"
Thought I'd just come out and say it Ron.

One must use the proper sterling silver Dunghill tees, simpletons That's all I use on my Dunhill's. As you all know Dunhill's ONLY smoke well when tamped with Sterling. Ingeneously designed set, short length when starting your smoke then you use the other lengths as you progress down the bowl! Only from the old Dunhill ! Now days, they sell them as golf tees since Dunhill does not have it's name associsted with ANYTHING related to tobacco !

I looked for ask the seller a question, but couldn’t find it.
“ I have a pair of Alfred Dunhill’s underwear that he briefly wore... would you be interested in a trade?”

One must use the proper sterling silver Dunghill tees, simpletons Thank God I don't own any Dunhills since one needs such fancy tampers to make them smoke better. The uncultured swine that I am typically uses a drywall screw.

The uncultured swine that I am typically uses a drywall screw. Do they need to be used for the tobacco too? Good thing it's now made by Peterson. 😉

I picked up this "Nostril Cleaner" for a bit more than I wanted to pay, but since it is a Dunhill I figured it was worth the extra hundred. You just do not see these old Medical Devices around anymore.

All you guys using metal to tamp are really messing up your smoking. After all, "2) BEING IT IN WOOD OF BAMBOO WILL NOT COOL THE EMBER IN YOUR PIPA STOVE, PERMITTING YOU SMOKE WITHOUT POWER OFF."
