Well, I've just finished my third bowl of the "new" re-branded Royal Yacht . It's still has the smooth, full Va flavors as well as the famous Nic hit some claim it has. Considering it's still blended by the same folks who've blended it for years (STG) not much has changed other than the name on the label. !'m sure the other "new" re-branded blends would be the same as they were. JMHO

Thank you for this. I didn't get to try the Dunhill version but picked up a couple tins of the new one and enjoy it very much.

Good to know things haven't changed.

If the Dunhill blends have changed, they will be off the shelf once the FDA regulations come in full effect; That is unless STG is willing to put up the money. One reason I believe STG is making the blends as they did before, as reported.
PS Still it is good to read a confirmation from someone whose palate is trusted.

I was all excited for my first tin of Royal Yacht. It was supposed to arrive yesterday, in time for tonight's Pipe Night. USPS had other ideas. It's now been rerouted among 3 different mail hubs around the state, so I won't get it 'til HOPEFULLY tomorrow. It LITERALLY took more than a day and a half to go 15 miles. Not to derail your thread, just wanted to partake in the storied wonder that is Royal Yacht (and to complain a little).

Jason, I see you were tracking the progress of that shipment by the hour. That's what I call anticipation.
