Testing one of the Schulte’s (bottom) after reaming and cleaning. It had the best stem of the three. Stamped “Schulte’s” in script font with an “M” and “E” as well. This one had a ghost, but I reamed it with the Senior tool (not a great design; there are better from the Jobey lot until I just smelled wood. Now it’s going like a champ and all I smell is 965! Another high quality old American pipe that smokes great!

Big "chore" after..pack wife's walker in her little buggy car, haul her to Target & let her get a few last minute things before getting pkgs ready to ship to WestCoast. Wish me luck it don't take all day. Will have a yard pipe so can go outside & enjoy while waiting

Next up for testing is the Schulte’s Prince with some Chesdin Mixture (Sutliffe; I preferred the Altadis iteration, but that one aged longer). Another ghosted bowl, but it’s going cool and sweet after reaming and cleaning.

Finishing with a little bowl of some slightly aged C&D Corn Cob Pipe. It's a huge improvement over the last time I tried it well over a year ago, very enjoyable burley forward blend now. Love the effects of cellaring!
