I got an Ozgur for my Viking for less. I think that my main issue with Falcons is that they are over priced for what they are. |

I never knew that either. I wonder would the threads wear out over time? From what I have read. The threads break or the threaded area shears off do to the force. The threads are the weakest part. Also I have seen the price lower on other sites. Not sure if the Falcon bowl is block or pressed Meer. |

I have (block) meerschaum bowls for both my Falcon and Kirsten pipes. My main concern is breaking them. I'm always knocking the Kirsten over onto a wooden surface, but so far I've had no issues from that or with the threads. If you're hard on your pipes, you're wise to consider fragility, but short of dropping them on concrete, I've never had a problem with meerschaum bowls or pipes.

Here's the two I picked up on Ebay a while back. Haven't had any problems and they smoke pretty nice.  |
