Decided to get back into piping after a 10 year hiatus. It is my good fortune to have kept my 40 or so briars. My taste runs toward VaPers, and English/Oriental/Latakia blends. I first started with drug store pipes and over the counter Sail regular pouch tobacco. Then later, EA Carey tobacco and ”magic inch” pipes. After that, I discovered Edwards Pipes & Tobacco along with Tinderbox Pipes & Cigars. The landscape has sure changed dramatically. Many old line companies I favored are gone, like McClelland branded products for example. Online sales have replaced the traditional brick and mortar pipe / tobacco shops. There still remain plethora of cigar shops along with vaping and CBD oil / head shops. This said, I was frankly surprised to see EA Carey still in business selling their unique pipes and primarily aromatic tobaccos. Good for them. Anuway, I just wanted to say, hello fellow pipe smokers!
