I think the pipe rack makers that used to be in business...are no longer, but I might be wrong.

Two Cousins is out of business, but Esty might be the place to browse.

I like that rack. The problem I have with bowl down racks is they tend to let the pipes fall out. That rack won't let that happen.

I like that rack. The problem I have with bowl down racks is they tend to let the pipes fall out. That rack won't let that happen. That would be built like a table top. For each shelf start with the desired length then measure in 3/4" from this point measure the distance center to center for the pipes, I would start with 1 3/4". Then on the other end there will be a wider space you can adjust holes. If the layout is good then drill. What you will need to know to start is the quantity of pipes then the desired number of shelves. Now figure the board feet of material needed. Now to chose the material. From the picture I would estimate 3bf maybe 4bf would be close. That would depend on the width and lengths of the shelves. Enjoy

A simpler approach would be just to buy several shelves at Lowes, etc, and drill your own holes. Just an idea.

It might actually be easier to find someone who does woodworking in your area and get a quote. That way you can give them specs and get it made from some good high quality wood. You'll pay a bit for it, but I guarantee it will last as long as your pipes will with no issues.

Wish I had the lumber and more time Michael, other wise I'd make ya the rack but, I'm up to my ears in pipes and not making much progress.

I need a new rack for my growing nose warmer collection. Think I will give this design some thought. We'll see in a few days.

Here's my attempt to replicate the rack. This is just a rough draft out of pine to see if it is close. The next one will have smoothed edges and stained and if it looks good then on to an oak version.

That’s a winner, simplicity and functional, less is more, I really like it.
