@legend Lover challenged me to list my top 10 worst ways to die.
I must admit that, despite my last post, I haven’t given this as much thought as I suggested, but here goes (in no particular order):
Burning to death. Being torn to pieces by wild dogs. Drowning in sewage. Falling into rotating equipment. Dissolving in acid. Being buried alive. Drowning. Starvation.
Well, that’s 8. I’m not sure I have the constitution to list more.
What’s you got?

Have to admit...including the order in which you placed them...you are 100% right...wouldn't even want to consider more than you already have listed.

Burning to death and drowning I can agree with and I'll add a couple more. Falling off a roof or ladder Suffacation Poison gas Electrocution Freezing to death.
These are all posable in the work I do.

Fixed that for ya! I used to be scared of electricity, and then I had a panel box shoot a lightning bolt through my arm that blew the bottom inch of my jeans off. After that, I just show it a lot of respect. No more fear of it. Steep roofs still get me. I can walk a steep one as if I were a cat, but all it takes is 1 loose shingle, or 1 wrong step. My luck, I wouldnt die, I'd end up a vegetable and no one would pull the Plug.

Nursing home is something my wife and I agree on....no matter what the circumstances are, neither of us want to be in a nursing home...both of us will die in our own home regardless of the situation...just the way we have decided to go...not something I suggest for everyone else...that is their decision.

I see it as a pay back also, when someone does finally care enough to wonder where you are they get to walk in and smell your rotting corpse laying on the floor.

I need to add one more. Cancer, I watched my Great grandmother, grandfather and mother succumb to this and it was probably one of the worst ways to go.

Alzheimer's is one on my list. I was my grandmothers caregiver and its not a pretty decline. Many think its just a loss of memory but that's only the start and the least of the issues. The horror of it all and being alone with her every day got me to turn my camera on her and document her decline as a way to cope.

My mom cared for her until she just couldn't anymore. I remember her taking off her clothes and running down the street. I was about 6 or 7 at the time. Later in the nursing home I was traumatized by all the patients screaming at me. It's a true curse. Like the living death.

The first list is pretty much the best, but missing impaling "Vlad style", and most noticeably, Crucifixion. Most of the other suggestions are fast. Beheading for example. Drowning is not supposed to be bad, and freezing is like falling asleep.

Flaying, slowly being crushed. I come from a long line of Vikings, crusaders, Scots, etc. I am sure I have a lot more in my blood.

It's a sad road Alzheimer's that not only takes the person on a ride, but those who love them as well. I did the day to day care with my wife and mother helping in the evenings. My wife and I were there for the last moment about to wash her hair as she took her last bit of air. I'd honestly rather die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car. ^^^ That's a joke to keep this thread from being too much of a downer.

My grandmother had it as well and what was strange was that she was a tough old bird, no nonsense but when she started showing signs and later when she didn't know anyone and she was gone she was in a happy place. She was always smiling and laughing and all the time I knew her before this I never heard her laugh. There is some times for a brief moment she would be back but not often. I guess it made it easier for us to deal with it knowing she was in a happy place.

I guess it made it easier for us to deal with it knowing she was in a happy place. Mine had similar times like that too. I have video of her and I singing made up songs and having quite interesting conversations. Once her brain was effected enough though she would scream randomly, couldn't say words, walk, or do anything. Once her higher brain functions were gone the parts of her brain controlling her living functions started to basically "forget" how to do their things. I did a lot of cleaning I never thought I would do in my life.

It's not the worst way to go,but I don't go in caves.I don't want to go closed up in one of those under ground holes.I want to be looking out a window at the flowers.

Fixed that for ya! 😂😂😂 Nice job, Josh. I can't think of any others that haven't already been added to the list. With respect to drowning. I've heard some say it's a very peaceful way to go, but I'm pretty sure nobody has ever come back from a drowning death to let anyone know.
